I Premiered!

So on my first day out and about on NY1...
Let me tell you about it.
The day started with me heading off with the health reporter.
She did a story on bunion surgery.
Disgusting.
I am very queasy so it took all I had to not faint...
I'll spare you all the details.
Anyway... later that night I got to go to TWO red carpet events.
My very first movie premiers ever!
They were Tribeca Film Festival Movies.
QUITE exciting...
I didn't get to ask any questions but I hope to get to soon!
Oh wait...

Sub-WAY scary!

So I official started my internship today.
I just filled out papers and tomorrow the real work begins.
Anyway...
I had to take the subway back to my apartment all by myself!
I know I sound like a little kid... but I was WAY scared!
It was a HUGE deal for me;
and a even bigger deal that I made it back safely and with no mistakes!
Am I turning into a New Yorker or what?
Well maybe not completely... I seem to laugh a little more than people here.
Haha!
That's why I chose to show you all this lovely picture my boyfriend sent me.
It really sums up this post.

Auntie Ale

This is Landon.

He is my one and only nephew. 

That makes me Auntie Ale.

For the past few days I've been watching him.

So, while Elora is off galavanting about in NYC and I'm at home until next friday- procrastinating packing- I get to watch my favorite little person in the world.

Elora In Wonderland

So the other day (yesterday) I went to this place called "Alice's Tea Cup".

Cutest place ever.

Vintage cups, tea pots, yummy scones, cute names like "Mad-Hatter Feast"...

So Disney and so girly.

Herbal Tea OF course!

It got me thinking how out of place Alice seemed when she went to Wonderland.

I know now how she must have felt.

I feel like my personality,looks, and clothes are so out of place here.

Later in the day it started to rain and out popped my pink umbrella.

I stood out big time.

I realized that maybe its a good thing to stand out.

Like a pink umbrella in a sea of grey!

I hope it will set me apart from the other interns. (In a good way)

I'm Gonna Get Me a New York Slice!

Oh hey! So this is my very FIRST New York Post!

Super Exciting right?!(caps on S and E because it IS quite thrilling)

Ok, I'll move on past how excited I know you guys are.

Anyway...I am finally here with my mom.

She is going to spend a few days withme then head back home to Utah.

AND let me tell you it was a journey to get here...

And by journey I mean... the packing.

Eat At Angelos Pizza!

You see... I've had this Pizza before when I was here with my dance team.

I dream about this Pizza.

I crave this Pizza.

I talk about this Pizza all the time.

It is heaven on a plate... not kidding.

Fresh sauce...

Fresh meat...

Ricatta cheese...

I know this pic looks gross but the taste is magical!(Haha cheesy! No PUN intended)
